Dear Wildfire Team Leader,
I am thrilled to officially announce the first annual Wildfire Weekend event — a brand new, revolutionary outreach ministry for men!
This ground-breaking weekend for men is scheduled for October 10-11, 2008 at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, VA.
Team Wildfire (a division of American Association of Christian Counselors) is partnering with Thomas Road Baptist Church and the Southern Baptist Convention of VA (SBCV) in hosting the Wildfire Weekend: Men’s Impact 2008!
Our mission is to encourage and equip men to deepen their relationship and walk with God, the One who placed these longings of love, competition, adventure, and the outdoors in their soul.
Just imagine an event packed full of the workshops, exhibits, clinics, seminars and fun wrapped around all the stuff that men love: hunting, fishing, football, baseball, motorcycles, classic cars, racing, extreme sports and other outdoor activities — taught by many of today’s top field experts...
... Plus world-renown guest speakers and powerful plenary sessions to help motivate and challenge men to become better in their marriage, family, workforce and community.
Even more, imagine thousands of guys, many with their sons, coming together to worship God and to learn more about the life of true adventure He intends for us as men.
We’re grateful for what has already taken place, and we’re especially thankful for your willingness to help make Wildfire Weekend a success. As a Wildfire Commado, we invite you to bring the men from your church, along with their sons, to be a part of this dynamic two-day conference.
